When are orders dispatched?
All orders placed by debit / credit card are packed and sent the same day if placed before 4pm * (GMT) If you have ordered items from our pre selling page, your pre sale tracks will be shipped separately on release. All pre sale tracks are shipped individually and a separate (reduced) postage charge is applicable here. We cannot ship more than one pre sale track together.
If a product is picked and discovered to be damaged or we are unable to locate the product, we will email you straight away to ask you if you would like us to hold your order until we order another copy (normally next Day) or dispatch the order without the product
Can I get Order Insurance?
- If UK customers would like royal mail special delivery next day - this will cost an extra £3.50
- Royal Mail orders worldwide are insured up to a max of £30
- If abroad customers would like royal mail track and trace this will cost an extra £3.95
- Parcel force and fed ex order are fully insured
Can I track my order?
Some orders can be tracked depending on what shipping option you chose. Your tracking number will be emailed to you so you can track your order at any time. Click here for the differing shipping options
Can I get my records shipped to an alternative address to where the credit card it registered?
Yes simply fill in the shipping address section at the checkout as the alternative address you want the order to go to
How long does it take from when I order to when the records arrive?
- UK orders are sent first class delivery via Royal Mail and are normally at their destination Next Day.
Please do not contact us if your order is not their next day as delivery times are out of our control and can at the worst take up to 15 working days.
- International orders take from 2-15 days to arrive depending on the country they are being shipped to. Due to customs and postal delays beyond our control please allow up to 28 days for delivery before contacting us for lost packages.
- We do now offer next day service even to USA and Canada and 2/3 day shipping to Europe via our new fed ex services, please add items to cart and checkout to see our competitive rates.
We cannot guarantee delivery times as these are technically out of our control, however we constantly strive to ensure they are to the highest standards. Order Tracking is available to all customers who select their order to be shipped via Special Delivery or Recorded delivery options within the UK and Track and Trace, Parcel Force & Fed Ex for all overseas orders. You will be able to locate your tracking number via your account control panel.
Next Day Delivery Guaranteed
If you select next day delivery from the postage options, then your order will be delivered the next working day guaranteed. Bank Holidays in the UK or Abroad are not included as a working day. To qualify for this orders would need to have been placed before 4pm in the UK and 2pm across Canada and America . Orders place on a Friday would be delivered the next working day which would be Monday. Please note orders over a certain weight will only have the guaranteed next day option.
What are the different posting options?
- Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day (Please note if an order is over a certain weight this will be the only available postage option for UK )
- Fed Ex (please add items to cart and checkout to display postage prices – Hardbeat does not make any money from postage prices)
What should I do if my package arrives open?
Do not accept it, give it back to the courier or postman and ask them to return it sender. We will then make arrangement fore new records to be dispatched.
Can I return something I don’t like?
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the products within 21 days of ordering in perfect condition / unopened / worn for a refund* or exchange to the value of the products ordered only. To return a product please return it to Hard Beat Store with original or copy of invoice and state reason for return on invoice. Any products returned without these will be refused or not refunded / exchanged. Hard Beat Store will not be responsible for any postage costs incurred in returning products back to us) Tape Packs and CD's can only be exchanged and not refunded. (* If Hard Beat Store refund an amount back on to your credit card, we will charge you a -5% fee which is what we have been charged for taking your order).
Why have I received only half my order?
Some abroad orders are split due to shipping conditions; therefore you may receive half your order on one day with the remainder of the order following on.
What should I do If one of my products is faulty or was damaged during shipping?
Contact us. We do not accept any products back without a returns authorization form so you must speak to a member of staff before sending anything back
What customs charges am I going to be charged?
All customs charges vary please contact your local import / export office for more details
What if my package does not arrive?
Contact us so we can start with claim procedures and re-ship records. If you chose the standard 1st class mail service then please follow the following guidelines:- We cannot make any claims until after fifteen days so please do not contact us until the fifteen day period has expired. Please also make sure you check your local depot as the parcels are often held up there and are easily re-delivered. We will then complete a Royal Mail P58 Claim form on behalf of yourself and send this to Royal Mail, you will then receive a letter from Royal Mail which you will need to sign to verify the order went missing. Once Royal Mail have received this claim we will then send the replacements records. For all people who ordered a next day service please contact us straight away and we will contact our courier service immediately and re-ship the records. We can only place a maximum of 2 claims per address as Royal Mail will only pay compensation on an address twice. A note of addresses where claims have been made is kept on file and we will no longer send to these addresses. Hard Beat Store is not responsible if customers have given incorrect address details.
What if my records arrive but there is one missing?
You must contact us within 48hrs of delivery and we will send the missing item.
