Hard Beat Store is run and managed by myself (Kevin Energy) and the NEC. In 2000, the store was originally an outlet for the NEC labels on their first site www.nuenergy.co.uk. The store soon took on other labels and developed a big following as Kevin sourced hard to get material and upfront promos. Since then it has continued to grow and encompass more genres and labels. In June 2007 we separated the store form the general NEC music site to offer it more functions and products. Since then we have worked hard to offer you both physical and download products from as many places as possible.  Alex (A.B) is the general store manager who deals with all your queries and manages your orders through the picking and sending process.

Some of you will notice a similarity in our software with the IMO online store. In order to offer you the best products, prices and service that you have come to expect from us we have merged our software with IMO, however this does not mean that we have merged stores in any way. Hardbeatstore is still run and managed by myself and the NEC. We still source you great music, manage your orders and offer you great customer service! By joining software with IMO we are able to cut back on costs and pass on the savings directly to you. It’s no secret that the music industry and in particular vinyl stores are struggling to survive. Our new move will ensure a brighter and longer future for the artists and labels that we represent.

In order to maximize the functions and products of both MP3 and vinyl material we have separated the formats into two separate stores. Our digital store is now atwww.hardbeatsdownload.com. Our regular customers will recognize that this is our original hardbeatstore software. This is a temporary download store which will be replaced by our new software very soon which has been custom built from scratch to offer all your needs in a simple and easy to use layout..
